March News

Happy Monday!!!

Hope you are having a great start to your week!!!

I spent all morning working on the final edits for our third album, Wee Yogis Grow which is designed to teach Yoga Philosophy and Kirtan to Children. This Album has taken a little longer for me to finish because I find myself jumping between my inner child mind and my adult mind when it comes to what instruments to add and to take away.  I meditate on which versions of the songs make me lighter,  at ease, and which one flows without me over thinking it. In the end, I’m reminded to listen my heart and not my mind.  And it’s there, when my heart is truly my guide…when all things become clear.

This is my  mantra today, “Follow my heart’s light!!” And this is the mantra we share on our Wee Yogis stickers, shirts, and songs, “Follow your heart’s light!” As a Wee Yogis teacher, we remind children that their heart’s light shines bright inside them. That this light is their inner teacher guiding them between right and wrong. I’m constantly reminding everyday how I want to live my life,  from the lessons we teach and sing about. “Follow your heart’s light, Follow your heart’s light, Follow your heart’s light!!!” Ok already, I’m trying! So, hopefully this album will be in your hands by April 1st…Fingers crossed!

So to fill you in on other Wee Yogis News, the team and I have been so busy here at the home office. Our big project at hand is our 95hr Kids Yoga Teacher Training at YogaWorks Soho in New York City!!!
